Languages are learned by listening and practicing and a desire to communicate. We do not put books in our toddler's hands. Based on phonetic, oral and ear training exercises, this method peels the rules of French as we get along, and when needed. The idea is to be able to recognize the sounds and diphthongs, read properly, talk properly which, as a consequence, facilitates comprehension when in front of a French person.  This method aims at giving a student the basis to read, form sentences and understand how French works. Ideally, after 6 months, the pupil is ready to move on by themselves, acquiring vocabulary with books, movies and songs.

About me:

Former singer and vocal coach for public speaking, I taught French for over 30 years.

When I moved to Denmark, I worked in several Danish and international schools as a teacher. I am currently a substitute teacher for another International school, and work afternoons in a creative center, where I teach art, well-being and vocal strength.
